JAM Media Collective, one of our absolute favorite PR firms, held a private showing of Spring/Summer 12 product from its esteemed roster of clients in New York City last week. Outdoor, Performance and Lifestyle brands including Keen, Moving Comfort, Osprey, Icebreaker, Look, Horny Toad, Snow Peak and Nau all presented new goods for next season. Flap Jack Pack from Osprey is always a favorite for the Urban Cycling set.
I picked this bag up 4 months ago and have used it constantly since then. It has been jammed in overhead compartments, shoved under seats, thrown in cabs, jammed in trunks and everything in between. But the best part? It still looks good enough for taking to a client meeting.
When Osprey asked if we wanted to take a look at their new packs, I thought we’d get a few of their hydration packs, (and we did in fact get one, the review of that is forthcoming) but the package also included the new Flapjack, a backpack-style laptop bag that’s the bee’s-knees.
With a padded laptop sleeve (here seen holding my iPad and a magazine—we like to rock both old-school and new-school media in the Hugger East Cost HQ) the Osprey Flapjack has been finding itself on a lot of my rides to town.
