ReadAboutGear.com – Featuring Aether 70 – December 7, 2011
I received this pack in September and although I have not used it extensively yet I love it. The main trip I used it on was my trip to Capitol Reef National Park. We weren’t backpacking on this trip but it was my main pack for the trip. I was able to store away everything I needed for the cold winter excursion. I even was able to stick in my large 35 L daypack inside. This pack carried the heavy load very comfortably, I love this pack’s adjustability, make it comfortable to everyone personally. The sleeping bag compartment is awesome, I love the wide mouth access, it makes it incredibly easy to get your gear out. The top access is incredibly wide also, which is wonderful. I really like the remove able top loader; it makes a great hip pack for short hikes where you don’t have to carry much.
I plan on going on some more extensive trips to test this pack out to it’s fullest extent, maybe go on a nice snowshoe trip over the holiday.
From what I have experienced so far I would totally recommend this pack to someone who is going on long backpacking trips or for some one who just needs lots of room for all their gear when on backpacking trips. It is incredibly comfortable, easily custom adjusted, and very well built.
